Two day Botany Seminar - Workshop
Participate with all your senses in a unique seminar in practical botany in charming village of Lafkos, Pelion!
- We leaarn about sowing, cultivation, collection and drying of aromatic and medicinal plants.
- We learn to we oil and vinegars with herbs in our cooking.
- We learn to prepare traditional herbal ointments with cosmetic and therapeutic properties.
- We make bath salts.
- We make herbal oil products for therapeutic purposes.
- We make various decorative items with flowers and herbs from Pelion.
- We learn how to collect fruits and herbs from nature responsibly.
- We learn the material benefits herbs in our cooking and for our health.
- Through practical exercises, we learn to distinguish everything we find during our walk in nature.
At the end of each course we take home our own hand made creams, oils and salts.

Schedule
- Gathering at the square of the village at 10.30 p.m.
- Leading to the Aromatic Plant Laboratory
- Opening of the seminar from 11 to 3 p.m.
- Tsipouro in a tavern in the square of Lafkos.
- Afternoon walk through the beautiful streets of the village with magnificent mansions.
- Visit the Gallery.
- Lunch - dinner in tavern in the square.
- Meeting in the village square at 10:30 a.m.
- Visit the traditional oven to knead our own bread. (30')
- We walk on the path from Lafkos to Milina to collect and recognize fruits, herbs and grasses of Peleus land.(2 hours)
- We return to the laboratory for the use of all those gathered. (1.30')
- At the end of our program we await our fragrant gifts. *
